Description
JBL Sansibar is a range of aquarium sands made by JBL in Germany.
Sansibar Sands are completely aquarium safe and is designed with barbelled fish in mind. This means that Sansibar sands will not damage sensitive feelers of fish like corydoras and such.
Sansibar sand has a grain size of 0.1-0.8mm, this makes Sansibar sand ideal for forming top layers in planted tanks since it will trap nutrients and allow plant to take root with little resistance.
JBL Sansibar sands are available in 3 different colours:
Dark: Sansibar Dark is a salt-and-pepper coloured sand with more dark grains rather than white.
Snow: Sansibar Snow is pure white aquarium sand.
River: Sansibar River is the most natural colouration of the Sansibar sand range in Australia so far. River is a light yellow (sand coloured essentially) with flecks of darker and lighter grains making it look quite natural.
All Sansibar sands are available in 5kg & 10kg bags.
