The Aquael Aquaterrarium solves this with a purpose-built habitat crafted from durable, polished float glass and resilient aquatic-grade silicone. It pairs adequate swimming water volume with an integrated dry island, ensuring your pets stay active, safe, and healthy.

• Integrated Dry Basking Island & Access Ramp:

  Includes a sturdy elevated dry dock fitted with a textured, non-slip ramp. Pets can easily climb out of the water to dry their plastron and shell completely under basking and UVB lamps, helping to prevent shell rot and fungal infections.

• Anti-Escape Protective Canopy:

  Semi-aquatic turtles are determined climbers. The Aquael Aquaterrarium features an integrated upper perimeter guard positioned directly above the basking island to prevent agile pets from climbing over the glass rim, while preserving overhead ventilation and light penetration.

• Internal Water Filtration (80 & 100 Models):

  Semi-aquatic animals produce significantly more organic waste than typical ornamental fish. The Aquaterrarium 80 and 100 come equipped with a high-flow internal power filter (rated at 500 L/h) that delivers effective mechanical and biological filtration, even in shallow water levels. (Note: The compact Aquaterrarium 60 is supplied tank-only to allow custom equipment selection).

• Protective Bottom Base Frame:

  Fitted with an integrated, shock-absorbing bottom frame that elevates the base glass pane. This distributes weight evenly across your stand or tabletop, shields the glass from point-pressure stress, and eliminates the need for a separate foam mat.
