Founded in the 1960s by a trained chemist. JBL takes product Development and Water testing very seriously.
In keeping with our motto “Progress through research,” we believe it is essential to use information about the animals’ way of living and of their biotopes as a basis when developing our products. As a reputable manufacturer with very high standards JBL does not rely on dubious reports from the internet or information from outdated literature. That’s why JBL runs its own research center , employing experienced scientists, and also organises annual research expeditions to the home areas of the aquarium and terrarium animals, so as to build up our knowledge first hand.
In addition JBL cooperates with some of the leading scientific institutions in Europe, in order to receive the most accurate results possible.

JBL Adjustable multi-purpose hose clips 9-27 mm (2Pk)
- Attach aquarium hoses, e.g. when changing the water, simply and securely to the aquarium edge and bucket
- Easy to use: simply push the plastic clip onto the aquarium and bucket edges. Push the hose into the clips when not in use or to prevent it from accidentally slipping out
- Safe: prevents flooding and wet floors caused by uncontrolled movements of the hose
- Clamp for hoses between 9 and 27 mm adjustable by ratchet. Clamp on pane/bucket for max. 2.5 cm approx.

JBL Proflora CO2 Regulator Advanced
The CO2 pressure reducer lowers high-pressure gas from approximately 60 bar to 1.2 bar, allowing for easy regulation of the CO2 supply. It can be screwed onto both refillable and disposable CO2 cylinders (M system or U system) using an adapter that fits the cylinder thread. The device features a durable design with anodized aluminum and a reliable sealing washer, and comes with two pressure gauges and a package contents.

JBL Symec micro
Microfibre fleece is a fast and easy-to-use filter material for freshwater and marine aquariums, effectively removing even the finest cloudiness caused by floating algae and particles as small as 1/1000 mm, including white spot disease swarmers. Simply cut the fleece to size and place it as the last filter stage, removing it after 12-24 hours. This water-neutral synthetic fibre ensures crystal-clear water without releasing any pollutants.

The ProAquaTest – K – Glas Tube is an original spare part for the JBL ProAquaTest K Kalium and the JBL Testlab ProScape. It is the thin tube that is used for the final test solution.

JBL SPARE PARTS CO2 Permanent Parts
- Spare parts for replacing the CO2 permanent test if the suction cup and/or seal ring are defective
- Sustainability. In order to avoid having to buy the whole test set again, the two spare parts are offered here in the set, and can thus be replaced if necessary
- Simply remove the suction cup from the clip and attach the new suction cup. Remove the O-ring and fit a new O-ring
- Suction cups lose their suppleness over time and harden. Hot water sometimes helps – but not always. Silicone seal rings actually last forever. Only mechanical damage shortens their service life

- Effortless removal of algae growth and deposits: aquarium glove with metal threads for the cleaning of glass panes and objects

JBL Test Kit Refill – CO2/pH Permanent REFILL
- Simple and reliable monitoring of the aquarium water values. Permanent direct measurement of the pH value and carbon dioxide content in freshwater aquariums
- Permanent test for fertiliser control: place reagent in the permanent test device and attach to the aquarium pane, using suction cups. Compare reagent colour with colour scale sticker and read off value
- Indication of pH value (6.4 – 7.8) and CO2 content
