Description
Water with a low buffering capacity, such as tap water, will very quickly drop in pH. Water with a low pH is acidic and can cause painful acid burns to axolotls. Axolotl KH Buffer 7.2 raises KH (carbonate hardness), stabilises pH, reduces stress and stops painful acid burn. With stable carbonates and added calcium for strong bones. Contains chemically clean phosphates, which should not exacerbate algae.
Directions: 1 level teaspoon or 5g to 10 litres of water will raise KH by approximately 7dKH or 125ppm and stabilise pH over 7.2.
