Removes
All known toxic metals and calcite in town water. This increases the biological load bearing capacity of water, which reduces the need for water changes. Ultra Chlor also speeds nitrification by removing these toxic inhibitors.
Up to 5 times normal dose should also be used if weather is windy, very wet or very dry. This results in a lack of clarity and higher bacteria counts in stored drinking water and as a result treatment chemicals may be increased by municipalities. When treating large quantities of water always double check chlorine removal with the appropriate chlorine test kit.
