Aquael Ultra Slim Bluetooth (BT) 90 Light Unit
The Aquael UltraSlim is the next development in the Aquael range of aquariums lights. The UltraSlim is a 90cm long light bar designed any aquarium situation. The BT control allows for the below light settings:
SUNNY is the basic mode, characterised by the strongest light. It is dedicated to lighting a freshwater aquarium during the day. DAYBREAK is a mode characterised by reduced light output up to 50% less compared to what SUNNY mode offers. It works well as the first mode used after the night and when feeding fish especially the skittish ones. NIGHT is an atmospheric blue glow that allows you to observe the night life of the aquarium. MARINE a light mode dedicated to marine tanks, which is also great for decorative aquariums with fish from Lake Malawi and Tanganyika. Independent Store Brand Macropore 2L
Macropore is a Macro-Porous Synthetic Polymer that controls Nitrates by filtering out nitrogenous wastes products. In the process of doing this it also renders aquarium water to a crystal clear appearance.
This product for use in fresh water can be recharged with a 6% salt solution until it becomes significantly dark, then bleach recharge will be necessary. For Marine aquarium use, Bleach must be used.
Directions
Rinse before use in a fine mesh bag available at your local Aquarium, then place the bag of resin in your aquarium filter.
This container will treat 9600 litres for approx. 6 months It is exhausted when it will not bleach white again or clarify aquarium
water.
To Recharge for Freshwater Aquariums
For freshwater aquarium use, recharge by dissolving 2 handfuls of non-iodised salt into 1 litre of water in a plastic container, and leave sit in bag for 12 hours, rinse before use. Approx. 1 out of 4 recharges for freshwater will require bleach recharge, check for discolouration. For bleach recharge follow the instructions below for marine aquariums To Recharge for Marine Aquarium
For Marine Aquariums use home brand bleach at ratio of 1:1, soak for 12 hours in a plastic container, rinse well and soak in fresh water with 2 tablespoons of Chlorine Neutraliser per cup of water for 8 hours, rinse again. Check for chlorine odour, if odour still exists rinse with chlorine neutraliser and do a chlorine
test. For use in fresh water soak for 3 hours with half a teaspoon of ph down.
